T.H.F. Drenching: Doomed Shop! The Class Struggles in France 1848-1850

Here's the most recent version of the most recent track from "Doomed Shop!", a proletarian collage-oratorio currently under construction.  The libretto is boiled down from 'The Defeat Of June 1948', part one of 'The Class Struggles In France 1848-1850'.  But I'm like, fuck a word-cloud.  And double-fuck K. Goldsmith's 'transcriptions' and triple-fuck their smug espousal at der Weisses Haus. American Imperialism's pastel-suited court-jester says we should re-type 5 pages of Marx and realise that writing is a physical act (Start at about 51 minutes if you can stick it).

Retype a newspaper and transcend history!  Like Charles Bernstein’s 21st recommended poetry experiment, "a real wrist-nimbler-upper". (see Keston Sutherland's editorial at Barque Press).  I'd rather paint the White House black.  A task quadruply-urgent after Obama.  And I've got no interest in the-historical-text-as-unterschiedslose-halbfeste-zitternde-Gallerte, so I've tried to keep the historical narrative audible, hedged-round 'though it is by what I hope is the opposite of appropriately-themed program-music.  You must enjoy our concert."
